    Living with Type 1 Diabetes

Skirt: H&M, Tee: Eight Tees, Coat: Toteme, Boots: Dr Martens, Bag: Simon Miller I’ve been thinking about writing this post for a while now and it’s not something I talk about much at all. I don’t even really like thinking about it that much to be quite honest and I actually (stupidly) used to be quite embarrassed about it if the truth be told, but it’s such a big part of my everyday non-online life (and so many other peoples out there) that I really felt l needed to get this

    February Favourites

As someone who spends a hell of a lot of their time on the internet I come across a lot of great things on a daily basis. Images I love, accounts on Instagram that make me happy, great podcasts, great articles and reads, great clothes and other bits and bobs that inspire me, and that I want to share with you all too. So i've come up with a new monthly post idea where I share my favourite things i've come across throughout the month, whether that be accounts to follow on Insta

A little ramble and Some Plans

Jumper: Peregrine, Jeans: vintage levis, Bag: Chloe, Boots: Eytys I always have a million and one half written saved posts in my drafts on here just waiting for me to have the time and brain capacity to actually just focus on one thing for once, but alas they rarely get finished and make it out into the world. This one, had merely a title, but i've been wanting to write a little life update and tell you guys about some exciting plans I have coming up over the next few months

    Switching Off in The Countryside

I spent the weekend in the snowy hills of the North East countryside with my family, in a little cottage pretending I was in The Holiday (after several glasses of prosecco my bf looks like Jude too... lolz I joke) and it was just the loveliest spending time with my faves and actually really switching off. We stayed on a farm near a little village called Wolsingham and I got the closest I ever have to a sheep so that's an achievement right there. We went on walks, ate a lot, d

    Being Yourself

Coat: Toteme, Jeans: Paige, Jumper: Levis (similar), Boots: Dr Martens, Bag: Sezane Over the years of taking picture after picture of myself and scrutinising every inch, it's safe to say i've become critical AF. I'm obsessed with things about myself 'not being good enough' and it got me thinking about how awful we can be to ourselves. I would NEVER talk to anyone else the way I mentally talk to myself so why do I do it? Why are we so self-critical? Why can't we just be happy

    A Slow Monday at Home

I find it so difficult to motivate myself this time of year, with working from bed days becoming the norm as I hibernate and try my best to be productive. I always make sure I have some 'home days' each week where I don't leave the house and try to chain myself to my laptop to do solid work, but the reality of this time of year is that I seem to have the attention span of a screaming toddler. Last week was a tough one getting back into a proper routine after a lovely Christma

Another Year On - Reflections on 2018

I sound like my 87 year old Gran but honestly I can hardly believe we are nearing the end of another year! It feels like two minutes since I was writing a 2017 round up, but I guess on the contrary a hell of a lot has changed over the last twelve months. This year, for me, has been a rollercoaster of emotions. I've had some of the highest of highs but also some of the lowest moments too, and I've learnt a hell of a lot along the way. I started the year back in January throwin

    The Little Things

Jumper: Joanie Clothing, Jeans: Vintage Levis, Boots: Amazon Find, Bag: Chanel, Watch: John Paul Gaultier This week has been an insanely hectic one. I started it off with moving into my new flat on Monday (yayyy!) and feel like that has had a knock on effect on the rest of it. Basically trying to cram in work all day and night around moving your life probably isn't the best idea, but when you're self-employed days off are pretty much non-existent (not complaining, I do love m

Blouse: H&M x William Morris, Trousers: & Other Stories, Shoes: By Far, Bag: Sezane When someone asks me how I am my instant reaction is always 'yeah, good' without even thinking twice. How many of you do the exact same thing? Regardless of how I actually feel, I never want to be that person who's like 'you know what, i'm not ok' but over the past few weeks I haven't been able to bring myself to offer up my usual response because I really haven't been all that good. I haven't

I feel like i've read a lot of posts and articles on friendship recently, and also had a lot of conversations and opinions on it too, so it got me thinking about how lucky I am with my bunch. Since the age of about 16 I’ve had a close knit group of girl friends, more like sis

What I got up to at Oslo Fashion Week on 35mm

So last week I was lucky enough to be whisked off to attend Oslo Fashion Week for three days and I absolutely loved it! We arrived late Monday night and it was pretty much straight to bed once checked into the lovely Christiana Teater hotel (I got a suite which I was definitely not chill at all in the slightest about... eeeek!). After indulging in the breakfast buffet (a definite hotel highlight), we hot footed it down to the Oslo Runway hub to check in and pick up press pass

First of all, on Monday I'm heading to Oslo for a few days to attend Oslo fashion week and as you can imagine, I'm super excited and can't wait to see all of the amazing new collections, and also to explore somewhere I've never been before! July on 35MM

July has been another busy month involving me running around like a headless chicken... however it has also involved many dreamy lazy days in the park as this is the hottest (for the longest) Summer we have had in the UK since I don't even know when. Not gonna lie I've definitely done a fair bit of moaning about how hot I am and how sick I am of being a constant sweaty mess buuuuut that's just standard British activity right? We're so very hard to please weather wise. I've be

    Exploring Brighton With Trouva

On Sunday evening I headed to Brighton for the night to stay in the Artist Residence there with a brand that I am such a fan of - Trouva. If you don't know, Trouva are an online marketplace that stock niche and independent brands and retailers from all over the UK (and have recently just launched in Berlin too!), making it a smooth and easy niche shopping experience and also supporting small independent business and giving them a global platform. I absolutely love the Artist

    Enjoying Your Own Company

Skirt: Amazon Find, Boots: Amazon Find, T-shirt: Eight tees, Bag: APC The other day I was sat in Pret alone between meetings and events with a coffee and my emails and for some reason, I felt really lonely. This is not a feeling I have very often to be honest, as although my job involves me being a one man band, I feel very much constantly surrounded by like-minded people, even if not always literally. London can be one of the loneliest places but I’ve been lucky that from th

Dress: c/o Sosandar, Bag: c/o Fonott, Shoes: Castaner, Sunglasses: c/o Jimmy Fairly June has been tough for me and this post has taken a lot to write, mainly because my head has been all over the place and it’s taken a while to collect my thoughts and actually get them out cohesively, but also because I don't usually write stuff like this. May on 35MM

Firstly, huge apologies this is so late as I know I promised last month that my May diary on 35mm would be on time! I have had a bit of a rough couple of weeks but slowly getting back on track. As i'm sure most of you are aware, my flat sadly got broken into last week and they took my laptop amongst other things, so work has been a bit sporadic. Anyway, I don't really want to dwell on it too much and technically that was June, so let's get cracking with what i got up to in Ma

How, how, how is it the middle of May already?! Seriously I feel like Christmas was like, a month ago. April feels like an absolute whirl wind and massive apologies that this post is so late! Needless to say time has just ran away with me... Anyyyyway, as jam packed as it was, I got up to some cool stuff throughout the month (that I remembered to document on film - constant struggle) that I've been sharing with you guys along the way already.
