A week in NYC on 35mm

So as I'm sure you will have seen if you follow me over on Instagram, last week I spent just under a week in NYC and it was SO GOOD! It's only the second time i've ever been, I went about eight years ago with my fam, so I had so much on my list to see and do, including so many great reccies from you guys too! I went with my boyfriend and a group of our friends primarily to visit one of my bezzies who just moved there a few months ago, so it was bloody lovely to be reunited wi

    A Spring Jacket

So as much as i'm enjoying this February heatwave, it's fair to say it shouldn't be this warm right now. I'm very much enjoying the light and warmth however also very aware that its probably gonna be freezing again next week so with the crazy unpredictable weather one needs to plan their outfit accordingly - queue this perfect Spring jacket from Mango via Very. I instantly fell for the checks and love the style too. It's a wool coat however pretty lightweight and feels ideal

A little ramble and Some Plans

Jumper: Peregrine, Jeans: vintage levis, Bag: Chloe, Boots: Eytys I always have a million and one half written saved posts in my drafts on here just waiting for me to have the time and brain capacity to actually just focus on one thing for once, but alas they rarely get finished and make it out into the world. This one, had merely a title, but i've been wanting to write a little life update and tell you guys about some exciting plans I have coming up over the next few months

The Yasmin - My Collaboration with Fonott Bags

So if you follow me on Instagram I’m sure you will have seen that last week I launched my very own bag with the wonderful Fonott! I couldn’t have been any more excited to collaborate and work on this project with Hajni (the one woman band behind Fonott) and alongside the lovely Charlotte Jacklin. It was around this time last year that Hajni launched Fonott bags and got in touch with me asking to send me one of her beautiful Audrey baskets. Obviously as a massive basket enthus

    A Chunky Cardigan

Tee: M&S, Cardigan: & Other stories (gift), Jeans: Vintage Levi's, Belt: Topshop I am SUCH a massive cardigan enthusiast (insert grandma emoji) and the latest addition to my cardigan collection is this & Other Stories number that i've wanted ages, but was sold out and has since come back into stock, hurray! I just love the shape and texture of this knit - really chunky and cosy, and almost feels like a jacket. I love that it's oversized and slouchy, and can be styled in so ma

    Barcelona: A Birthday Surprise Trip

So last Thursday was my 29th birthday and my lovely boyfriend took me on a surprise trip to Barcelona! I literally had no idea where we were going up until we got to security at the airport and all he told me was the temperature so that I could pack accordingly. I am usually so hard to surprise and although I love them, I am a bit of a control freak so he did exceptionally well keeping it from me/ planning it all so well. We stayed in a lovely hotel in Eixample called The Cor

    Being Yourself

Coat: Toteme, Jeans: Paige, Jumper: Levis (similar), Boots: Dr Martens, Bag: Sezane Over the years of taking picture after picture of myself and scrutinising every inch, it's safe to say i've become critical AF. I'm obsessed with things about myself 'not being good enough' and it got me thinking about how awful we can be to ourselves. I would NEVER talk to anyone else the way I mentally talk to myself so why do I do it? Why are we so self-critical? Why can't we just be happy

    My Top Sale picks

Coat: Mango, Skirt: Warehouse, Boots: By Far, T-shirt: Sunspel Since almost all of the sales have started now, I thought I'd share with you my top savvy shopper sale picks that i've come across. These are all things that I either already own/ want, or things that I absolutely love and are generally a good investment buy. I have always been a sale lover, however I'm definitely more of a considered shopper on the discounted rails these days and believe that it's only really a b

    Festive Party dressing 101

It's that time again! The most wonderful time of the year! AKA the time you can wear more sparkles, velvet, animal print, sequins and metallics than you can shake a stick at, possibly all at once if you really fancy, and still not be deemed 'too much'. Yes my friends, it's Christmas/ New Year party time! The pretty much three week window in which you get to frantically parade all of your festive spangly wears before they are to be packed away and never to be seen again for an

Cyber Monday - The best Deals

Coat and smock top: Free People, Skirt: Warehouse, Bag: Fonott, Boots: Old Zara Right, can someone tell me how its almost the end of November? I mean, I swear it was Spring like five minutes ago? No? Anyway, the end of November means only one thing (aside from my best friends pink themed hen do this weekend) and that is Black Friday/ Cyber Monday/ cyber discounting week madness. It will probably just become cyber month next year it's getting that out of hand.... but complain

    The Little Things

Jumper: Joanie Clothing, Jeans: Vintage Levis, Boots: Amazon Find, Bag: Chanel, Watch: John Paul Gaultier This week has been an insanely hectic one. I started it off with moving into my new flat on Monday (yayyy!) and feel like that has had a knock on effect on the rest of it. Basically trying to cram in work all day and night around moving your life probably isn't the best idea, but when you're self-employed days off are pretty much non-existent (not complaining, I do love m

    A Day Trip to Paris

I had a very surreal day on Saturday. I was invited to Paris with Jeanne Damas and Lauren Bastide to celebrate the launch of their new book 'In Paris'. Yes, you read that right, with Jeanne Damas! I mean, I'm pretty sure you all know by now just how much of a Parisian wannabe and Jeanne fangirl I am so it's safe to say I was ecstatic about such an invite! We met Jeanne and Lauren at St. Pancras before boarding the Eurostar in our own private carriage ready for a Q&A with the

    Shopping In My Own Wardrobe

Skirt: Le Kilt, Jumper: Bella Freud, Boots: Chanel, Leather Jacket: Acne Studios As someone who's job it is essentially to buy, wear and promote clothes, I've been thinking a lot recently about sustainability and my shopping habits, and it seems that thankfully I'm not alone either. After watching Stacey Dooley's documentary Fashion's Dirty Secrets last week, it really brought home just how bad the effect of constant consumption is on the planet, how much the fashion industry

Blouse: H&M x William Morris, Trousers: & Other Stories, Shoes: By Far, Bag: Sezane When someone asks me how I am my instant reaction is always 'yeah, good' without even thinking twice. How many of you do the exact same thing? Regardless of how I actually feel, I never want to be that person who's like 'you know what, i'm not ok' but over the past few weeks I haven't been able to bring myself to offer up my usual response because I really haven't been all that good. I haven't

Suit: Free People T-shirt: Gestuz Shoes (similar): John Lewis & Partners Sunglasses (similar): Jimmy Fairly As a long standing fan of corduroy, come Autumn it pretty much takes up half of my wardrobe and this season you literally cannot move for it in the shops. I. am. delighted. I have fallen in love with more brown suits over the past month or so than I have had hot dinners. I mean, I'm not corduroy biased, i'll take it in most shades, but there is just something delightful

What I got up to at Oslo Fashion Week on 35mm

So last week I was lucky enough to be whisked off to attend Oslo Fashion Week for three days and I absolutely loved it! We arrived late Monday night and it was pretty much straight to bed once checked into the lovely Christiana Teater hotel (I got a suite which I was definitely not chill at all in the slightest about... eeeek!). After indulging in the breakfast buffet (a definite hotel highlight), we hot footed it down to the Oslo Runway hub to check in and pick up press pass

    Embracing All White

Tee: Hundred Club, Skirt: Pixie Market, Trainers: Vans, Sunglasses: Mango As what can only be described as a ridiculously clumsy girl, wearing an all white outfit can be risky business to say the least.... I just really love pairing white on white/ cream/ beige and so, it is in fact a risk I am more than willing to take in the name of fashion. I'm particularly into wearing different shades of white together and playing with different textures too, and I'm sure you've seen in
