Lost Property Of London

Updated: Sep 4, 2020

Bag: Lost Property of London, Jeans: American Apparel, Shirt: A Day's March, Sandals: Office shoes via Very, Necklace: Wald Berlin

I love discovering new (to me) independent brands and on Tuesday I was invited along to the Lost Property of London store and workshop in Coal Drops Yard to meet the founders and pick up my Arlington bag that they Kindly offered to gift me. LPOL are a contemporary leather goods brand, founded by husband and wife duo John and Katy in 2009. They design and make all of their beautiful leather bags and wallets here in London, focusing on responsible sourcing and zero waste. They marked their 10 year anniversary with the recent opening of their new store in Coal Drops Yard and it is an absolute dream of a space. All design aspects are so well thought through and work so well with the contemporary, design led product - a really lovely curated space (and it smells amazing too)!

I opted to go for the Arlington in natural leather as I don't have any similar bags to this so definitely had a gap in the wardrobe. I usually always go for darker (and safer!) colours but love the natural shade of this and think I will get so much use out of it. It's such a good size and looks good on the shoulder or cross body too. It is most definitely the kind of bag that gets better with age and is a true investment piece that I will have for years to come.

You can check out LPOL here and if you use the code 'BUBBLY15' on any purchases, you will get 15% off your order!

Hope you're all having a lovely weekend.

Rachael
