A Bubbly Birthday in Brighton

So on Tuesday I turned the grand old age of 27 and definitely marked (milked) the occasion. I began my celebrations on Saturday at the dreamy dinner destination that is Bob Bob Ricard in Soho with my gals. No, I didn't only want to go because there is a 'press for champagne' button on every table *emoji eyes* - it's obviously because I needed somewhere snazzy to don my equally snazzy new Zara velvet jumpsuit! Haha...but seriously, the food was amazing (particularly the Eton Mess En Perle dessert) and the dreamy decadent art deco interior made me feel like Leo was going to rock up at any moment. It's a definite yes from me.

My second round of celebrating began on Monday with my babe of a Mother sending me some brownies in the post (it's tradition, they're my absolute fave and she does it every year!) plus some breakie in bed with Ell before we hopped on the train to Brighton for a little seaside overnight get-away. We stayed in the cutest little quirky hotel called Artist Residence which I absolutely loved (and have a dedicated post/review coming soon)! Waking up to a sea view in our lovely cosy room on my birthday was just dreamy! The weather man was kind too as we got beaut blue skies and sunshine perfect for our day of being tourists. We went for a mooch round all the vintage and nick-nack shops in the lanes, had a lovely walk along the beach and pier and obviously had to round it off with some fish and chips! I love being being by the sea.

Ahhh I had an absolutely delightful Birthday. Can I do it all again now please?

Rachael
