First of all i'm sorry blog posts have been so few and far between of late - as usual I've been here, there and everywhere chasing my tail and struggling to keep everything ticking along nicely as I would like. As I chatted about in my last post a few weeks back, i've finally started vlogging (!) and managing so far to keep that up (haha three weeks strong) and i'm really loving doing it. After uploading and editing the first one it gets a lot easier once you know what you're doing so now I'm pretty efficient with it which is good. Dipping my finger into another social pie however has made my days (and head) busier, hence why things have been a little quieter over here. I'm hoping that now I'm into the swing of vlogging though, that everything can run a bit smoother and nothing gets neglected so that is my plan for this month (and beyond!), to get better at planning and better at plate spinning.
Secondly, I wanted to show you these AMAZING jeans that I picked up in the Selfridges sale. They are Levi's 701's and they are everything I want in a jean. They're super high waisted, straight leg and the perfect dark blue wash. They have a slight stretch and come up a little big I would say so bear that in mind if you're after a pair (they're still on the Levi's website, albeit full price). For reference I'm a UK 12, 5ft 11 and usually a W30 in Levi's however I got these in a W27/ L32 - they are quite fitted on me though so all depends how you want them to look. It's been so hot in London that I haven't been able to debut them until now that I'm back up north for a few days and quite a few degrees cooler! I absolutely love them though and think they will be a firm wardrobe favourite for a while as they're such a classic style too. I've teamed them with my new & Other Stories knitted vest, Dear Frances slides, Muji linen shirt and my APC Vestiaire bag find - really enjoying this get-up I must say!
