A week ago today I was lucky enough to be invited along to the Free People showroom to meet with the lovely photographer there and shoot some looks from their current collection. As you can imagine I was very excited when I got the email in my inbox asking me if I'd like to work together, as Free People is a brand I love and have shopped with for ages. The nature of blogging means that you never really know whats around the corner or who is going to reach out from one day to the next, and this was definitely one of those eeeekk moments for me. I love that feeling of excitement when a brand that you genuinely love and resonate with reaches out as it really feels like the perfect fit and opportunity to create exciting content.
We shot two looks that I picked out - the first was this dreamy white jumpsuit with the crossover back detail. It is literally SO comfortable but also looks amazing too, the perfect easy summer piece. I teamed it with my vans here but I would also definitely wear it with sandals for a more dressy look or throw on a tee underneath for a more casual option too.
The second look, and probably my favourite out of the two, was the 'Love of my Life' navy button down dress - again super comfortable to wear and also really flattering on my shape too. I'm a pear with a massive bum but quite a small waist so it fit me perfectly and skimmed nicely over my bum and hips. I paired it with my cream espadrilles as a midi dress and espies combo is basically my ideal Summer look, always! Again this could be worn in numerous ways with flat sandals, converse or even an ankle boot too!
I had a really fun morning visiting the gorgeous showroom and shooting with the lovely Tali from FP, feeling super lucky to have worked with one of my fave brands and hope to bring you guys more collaborative content with them in the future too!
