Five Faves: October

I feel like my face has been treat like an absolute queen this month - and rightly so really since Winter is drawing in and dry skin is looming. So without further ado, here are my top five prods I've been obsessing over throughout October:

Crude Oil Cleansing Starter kit

Crude is a plant based cleansing system completely free of soap, detergent, and synthetic chemicals which is so gentle on the skin and doesn't strip your face of it's natural oils. I got the oil cleansing starter kit and use the cleanser daily, just massaging a few drops into my face before removing with the pull cloth rinsed in warm water (which btw is like a super soft cuddle for your face, I spend far too long on this part because it's just that comforting LOL) and then usually once (sometimes twice) a week i'll do the Detox mask in the bath. The oil cleanser is also amazing for post cleanse too as a moisturiser with just a few tiny drops rubbed into your face for hydration, then after all that i'll lather on the moisturiser before bed. Literally my skin just looks so bright and healthy at the moment, it's a yes from me.

La Mer Original Moisturizing Cream

Oh La Mer... you've probably heard me banging on about them a fair few times before but their moisturiser really is just the dream. I usually use the soft lotion however since the weather is rapidly changing and the wind and cold are upon us, I decided to opt for the original classic moisturising cream - or 'the original miracle' in their own words. It's thick, rich and luxurious and leaves your skin hydrated and dewy - perfect as we head into the Winter months.

Aveda Pure Abundance Shampoo And Conditioner

Quite possibly the best shampoo/ conditioner I've ever used. Bold statement, I know, but seriously for fine, flat hair it's a god send. It literally does exactly what it says on the tin and just makes your hair expand. One of my gal pals who has a good old mane of hair said to me oh I literally cannot use that, it makes my hair too thick. Hahah oh to have those problems! But, whilst I don't, Aveda are there with the next best thing. Oh, and obviously it smells amazing too!

Wax and Wick Cinnamon and White GInger Candle

I have always been a sucker for a nice candle however since moving recently and becoming home and bath obsessed, it's getting a bit out of control. Seriously Elliott is like, another candle?!?! *emoji eyes* What can I say, I like a nice burning fragrance in my home ok! And since winter is drawing in, bath season is well and truly in full swing and i'm in my PJ's like 80% of the time it's all about getting cosy with a lovely scent. Wax and Wick make their candles from old wine bottles and they literally smell amazing. I was lucky enough to be invited to a workshop with them a few weeks back where I made my own candle! It was so much fun, I might just become a candle maker and be done.

Already have some dreamy make-up bits I wanna share with you in November so stay tuned!
