The latest addition to my belongings carrying collection is in the form of this dreamy Simon Miller wooden handle bucket bag. Yes, I finally caved in and got one. I seem to have been doing that a lot lately, self restraint at an all time low it seems. Oh well, wardrobe happiness at an all time high so peaks and troughs eh! I'd also just like to take this opportunity to note that it's not a basket! Hurray for me in one aspect, right?!
I opted for the larger sized Bonsai rather than a tiny one as I wanted to use it daily and fit more than a lipstick in it, and I can confirm this fits a hell of a lot in. A modern day Mary Poppins the second. As it's open top (Mustang Sally of the bag world) and soft leather, you can jam pack it as much or as little as you want and the shape still looks good. As it's suede nubuck it's a pretty dangerous little sac-magique for the clumsy gals among us (guilty) and it doesn't even have feet so CANNOT be placed anywhere but my lap for the foreseeable. I'm hoping though, that its going to wear quite well and actually look nice a bit battered, so watch this space.
For it's first outing I decided to pair it with a simple straight leg jean and leather biker combo, it's alllll about the bag.
